---Kent Is It? Yes, I'll Remember That.---

Those were the words said by Lex Luthor when Clark suggests that maybe the robbery of his battle armor could ultimately be of profit for him, as the U.S. government would order him to build more and more powerful units so the one stolen won't become a threat, but first things first...

Superman meets in this episode one more important element of the STORY... --------- ----------------------METROPOLIS!!!!!!!

Even when Clark had been using his abilities for some years now, now he is faced with the problems that are inherent to the most cosmopolite city of his world. In opposition to the Gotham City of Batman animated, the series from which this one is a spin-off that is literally an old, dark and of course Gothic city, Metropolis is modern, full of bright colors and slightly futuristic cars and buildings. It is important to say too, that when he speaks to Lois in order to intuitively create a public image, that he does not want to be perceived the way Batman is, he wants to be a different hero, he wants to be someone people could trust and not someone so intimidating that even some normal people (namely not criminals) were afraid of. Batman is actually mentioned in this episode not by his superhero name but as "That ""NUT"" in Gotham City".

It is very important to mention that in the DC UNIVERSE, heroes are in high degree a REFLECTION OF THE CITIES THEY LIVE IN. Same as Gotham City, Batman is dark, tenebrous and a little stuck in his own past. Flash is bright, relaxed and fun-loving, a little bit like Central City, where he lives. Superman is slightly cheerful, optimistic and foremost, as the city he defends, METROPOLIS, he is the "Man of Tomorrow"!

In my opinion this third episode of the series completes the triad of elements one needs to know about to get immersed in the adventure; Superman himself (of course!), his co-stars (Lois, Jimmy, Perry, Luthor, etc) , and his city.

Oh...and we have the first lines of Superman briefly describing his life's motto: "I'm not here to scare anyone... ... ...in fact I always try to help people whenever possible".

Finally, taking the advice given by IMDb about comparing a title with its peer series or movies, I want to say that even when I like "Batman, The Animated series" better than "Superman, The Animated Series" that is one we are talking about... ... so far , that is first three episodes against first three episodes... ...SUPERMAN is even slightly better than BATMAN!!!

Thanks for reading.
