Thanksgiving sees the Griffins entertaining the neighbours. Bonnie and Joe's son Kevin turns up from Iraq, having been feared dead, inconsistencies with Kevin's story see him reveal where he actually was.
The previous episode back to the pilot was such a success, following that was always going to be a challenge, and this one seems a bit forgettable in comparison. It's very much a political episode, with a definite message being told throughout.
A little similar to the recent episode with Quagmire's sister and violent brother in law, in that it feels the writer is using to show to express an opinion. It's watchable, but instantly forgettable.
What happened to the laughs? 5/10
