SCREAM MACHINE is another shot-on-video horror anthology without a single redeeming feature. There are five stories collected here with Lloyd Kaufman introducing them at the outset. All are terrible and sort of meld into one another in a big cloud of lameness. The bad editing and poor direction gives this film a really cheap and amateurish feel. Of the stories, the one about the guy trapped in the septic tank is the most fun, but the rest go for the gross out effect and are merely exercises in bad taste.
