Lame Euro western
18 August 2017
This particular Euro western is strange in several aspects. For one thing, it often feels more like an American western from the 1940s or 1950s instead of the gritty feel usually associated with Euro westerns of this period. There are even some low key musical numbers here and there. But in the end, this turned out to be one of the dullest Euro westerns I have seen to date. The storyline is really slow and uneventful for long periods. To make matters worse, there isn't that much action, and when action does come along, it is totally without bite or excitement. (The hand to hand combat, for one thing, is too obviously choreographed.) As for the music, it isn't particularly memorable as well. The end results are so tiresome I actually had to take a nap halfway through. For insomniacs only.
