Originally I gave this series a higher score but lowered it upon viewing it for the second time. I went back and watched it again because I felt I may have missed something. That was not the case.
I feel there was a huge disconnect between the 1st and 2nd episode. To me they did make as smooth of a transition as they could have. It seems after the first episode someone switched gears, took a different fork in the road, or whatever you choose to call it. I had a feeling that I was just left hanging while watching the 2nd episode. I know the viewer could fill in the gap but it would have been much nicer having the writer do it.
I thought the acting was good and absolutely love Vanessa Redgrave, always have. She just fits seamlessly into any part she plays.
