The fault in this episode is that Danny isn't that much of a character. He just comes off as too perfect. I really should have figured out who he truly was. Well, maybe I did. I still recommend this episode because it's actually pretty creative the way Ash gets his badge. He has to not battle with his pokemon but instead uses them to perform feats to top the gym leader. Usually, a person wins the first time around when they win two out of three. This was kind of unique, I guess. It's especially funny how Danny talks about Team Rocket.
Not only does he think they're Ash's friends, but he even compliments them on the traps they leave for Ash! Well, I admit they're pretty cool too, but that's just me. Misty was a little annoying in this. I really don't care much for Tracey, like most people. Despite all of this, the Orange League really did give us a lot of great episodes. I guess since he was mostly useless, it wasn't hard to just forget about him. Sorry, I was never into Pokeshipping. ***
