Review of The Rescue

Crossing Lines: The Rescue (2014)
Season 2, Episode 1
9/10
Well Plotted and Engaging

This one holds together nicely. With Louis and Rebecca kidnapped and being held in an unknown locations and with the specter of Anne-Marie hanging over the heads of the unit, it is imperative that everyone do his or her best. Hickman is reeling after his arch enemy has been taken from the hospital to fight again instead of being extradited. He is pulled from the jaws of justice by a corrupt police officer. We are introduced to a new character, a police inspector, who begins to see the ugliness in her own department. The episode ends in a really tight, exciting series of events. One of the major joys of this series is the technology these people employ. I wonder how realistic this stuff is. Oh, once again, Donald Sutherland's Dorn is amazing as he faces off with the most evil on the planet.
