Rarandoi Veduka Choodhaam (2017):

Director Kalyan Krishna's first film "Soggade Chinni Nayana" was a stunning a blockbuster last year.He gave a hope for Tollywood with a clean family entertainer. So his teaming up with Naga Chaitanya had created huge expectations. So how is it?

Plot:

Siva (Naga Chaitanya) and Brahmarambha (Rakul) meet at a friend's wedding. He likes her funny and innocent attitude. She comes to Vizag for further studies and they both meet again. Twist in the tale is that Chaitanya's father Krishna (Jagapathi Babu) and Brahmarambha's father Aditya (Sampath) were once friends but they have become rivals due to a past incident. How will their love story end?

Plus Points:

1)Break-Up Scene: Break-Up scene in second half is the only interesting and enjoyable part in the whole movie.Dialogues in that scene are awesome and both the actors excelled in their roles in that scene.

2)Performances: Naga Chaitanya is decent in his role. His performance during the breakup scene is too good and as he brings in his lover boy image to full strength. Jagapathi Babu and Sampath Raj are good.

Minus Points:

1)Story: The story of "Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam" dates back to 80's and 90's. Two close friends turn foe due to small differences and their kids fall in with each other without knowing their respective father's issues. Many movies were dished based on this thread.

2)Music: DSP's music is so ordinary.Songs placement is also bad.

3)Rakul: Rakul's look in the movie is totally outdated and didn't suit her well. Her look felt odd and her performance is mediocre(Except in break up scene where she excelled).

So,Rarandoi Veduka Chudhaam gives us a feel of watching 90's movie in 2017.
