8/10
from the heart

I'm not sure exactly why I enjoyed this movie so much. Partially, probably, because I'm a writer and live in Pennsylvania. I was also on my own at a very young age and lived in NYC for many years as a starving artist. So, I guess I just answered my own question. I related to this child/woman on a profoundly deep level. The difference is, not only is she a good writer, but she completes an entire piece of art in a matter of seconds. not fair, but an inspiration all the same.

in any event, I latched onto this film immediately and didn't let go. It was shot beautifully and edited perfectly... I sort of just floated along for the ride. There was a darkness attached to Abbie I couldn't quite identify. I hope she's still out there somewhere, happy and in love, but with a roof over her head and a peaceful relationship with her parents.type on, Abbie. If life hasn't given you a break yet, hang on, it will eventually.
