Don Johnson is a great actor! Johnson plays two characters here. Crockett, and Burnett. One evil and one good. Recovering from a brain injury from an explosion the viewer is full of anticipation of how will Crockett get out of the mess! The criminals will kill Crockett for being a cop and the cops will arrest the protagonist for being a criminal. There is many plot twists an turns as Crockett navigates through Redemption in Blood's minefield. There is a love interest which complicates matters even more. A great script, all Johnson driven. Well directed, with strong characters, melding story into style. A memorable Michael Mann ending. Nine out of ten stars. After Redemption in Blood the Crockett character takes a lesser role in the rest of season 5.
