What makes a show great is not the drama, or the set, or costumes, but the realness of the characters in the story. This show delivers that. The premise is that a brilliant criminal defense lawyer hires five students to work with her and compete for a permanent position at her firm. But, they all become involved in several murders that make life extremely complicated for them. The acting is superb, the writing is addicting, Viola Davis is INCREDIBLE, and you can feel the characters emotions like they're your own. That is what makes this show so addicting.
Honestly, if you like American Horror Story, you will enjoy this show. It's somewhat similar because of the awfulness of the situations that these poor people find themselves in. It is sometimes painful to watch, but very rewarding because the storyline is so intriguing. Definitely recommend if you're in need of a new TV addiction.
