Good enough

Warning: Spoilers
After reading the summery of the movie, I was kind of disappointed. The plot sounded silly and too cheesy. Alas, I was wrong. Even though the story wasn't much, the movie was quite entertaining and funny. The movie is about a journalist who loses her job because of a celebrity. And so she decides to become his number one anti fan. Her actions attract a variety show producer, who asks her to participate in a show where she and her most hated celebrity. Well, the girl was hilarious. She certainly is the main reason why the movie was so entertaining. She pulled off the silly, light headed but determined anti fan with a performance that seemed effortless. Her costar did a good job as well, and he seems to have a bright future as a Rom com actor. However, as he's a Korean playing in a Chinese movie, his accent didn't sound very good (even though I don't speak Chinese, however his pronunciation seemed more flat compared to the rest of the cast). Therefore, I'll give him another kudos, because he didn't let the language barrier influence his performance. Other than that, the movie was just a so so, with the soundtrack not really helping the mood to built and the story being way too cliché. Another thing that was the major disadvantage of the movie was the love chemistry between the two actors. I guess they tried their best, but he looked like her younger brother! Couldn't they had picked a more mature looking actor? Or a less mature looking actress? In any case it was awkward. Finally, I would have liked if the guy's "online photos" were original and not the ones someone can find online if he googles him for real! So, all in all, 4 out of 10.
