Yes, with this episode, I have confirmation that the producers have decided to emphasize on characters for the second season. The Don Meredith's character is very impressive and above all offbeat, not the kind we usually see in other series. The final sequence with him and Angie Dickinson is so touching. This is a pretty surprising sequence. Beside this, this is the usual story with Neville Brand as an evil mob boss, and not as a bar tender. Action scenes are rather flat however. I hope the next episodes will continue on this way, characters descriptions and especially not foreseeable situations. Will keep you informed is anything worth happens.
