"Apes of Wrath" is a 6.5-minute Warner Bros cartoon from 1959 (still the Golden Age of animation) and it features some of the company's most successful, namely Friz Freleng, warren Foster, Mel Blanc and June Foray. In here, the stork may have had one drink too many as he loses the gorilla baby he is supposed to deliver and instead knocks out Bugs (watch and learn Elmer Fudd) and brings him to the eager parents. Daddy Gorilla is not amused at all and Mama Gorilla has to protect the baby from his father's rage. I must say I felt a bit sorry for the daddy here because of how Bugs kept trolling him and it felt good to see Bugs get some backlash too occasionally, also with his new "son" at the very end. All in all, a solid cartoon better than many others, but not one of the very best. However, the good is more frequent than the bad/boring and that's why I recommend the watch.
