We all go out to the supermarket wanting a pint of milk but then come back with much more than that. This programme takes that idea and actually tries to help the families involved reduce their spending.
What I like about this show is that the hosts are not patronising to the families, they are not trying to shame them into changing their ways. Instead it's all about educating them (and hopefully the audience at home) into...well, eating for less.
Good for the BBC making a programme like this, especially at a time when obesity and over spending is high in this country. I hope this show is brought back for further series in the future.
