"Man" is a 3.5-minute animated short film from 2012. The director here is Steve Cutts and he gives us his take on how man destroys the environment. I personally thought this was an okay watch at best. it surely gets its message across, but honestly, I would have preferred a bit more subtlety and creativity. Then again, reality is harsh as well, isn't it? So maybe it is actually fine. we watch a man destroy the planet for almost the entire movie. Then, the most unusual thing happens and he has to pay for what he has done. He has to pay to forced that are not from this planet because here, he destroyed everything basically. All in all, the animation is not too good for 2012 and the story is also only really somewhat convincing because it's such a short film and there is no real danger of dragging. I personally cannot give this one a thumbs-up though. It's just not memorable enough. Not recommended.
