The Flash: All Star Team Up (2015)

Another cross-over with cast of 'Arrow' and (eventually) Legends of Tomorrow. For the most part the tone is light, with the lovely and quirky Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and airy Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) helping Barry and Co. against a vengeful scientist and her robotic killer bees. There's the requisite stuff with Dr. Wells lurking in the background, and it's addressed and the dramatic ball advanced down the field, but it's subservient to the fallout from Eddie learning The Flash's identity and the effect that has on his relationship with Iris.

A big issue with the series continues to be that the villains really aren't fleshed out very well and as a result are often paper thin caricatures, and none have been more so than Brie Larven aka The Bug-Eyed Bandit. She's almost an afterthought here, which is a shame because the robo-bees are a good gimmick and actress Emily Kenney gives a charmingly deranged performances as Larven.

Overall I liked seeing Routh, Ms. Rickards is welcome anytime, and when the focus turns to the Dr. Wells/Barry drama it is juicy, but otherwise this is a fairly weak episode.
