An Adult Show That Feels Like A Party In Khloe's Home
28 March 2016
This is an adult talk show. So if you don't like talk shows, this will not appeal to you. If you don't like discussions about adult topics, like sex, don't watch. If you hate everything about the Kardashians, the title should be a clue.

Khloe's show takes place on a set that resembles an open-concept kitchen-livingroom combo, which is designed to relax her guests. It works very well as do the custom alcoholic beverages concocted by the in-house chef. Many of Khloe's guests are friends or family, further adding to the homey atmosphere.

The result is a fun, funny, titillating talk show that tries to avoid heavy doses of serious topics. Contrary to what was written in another review, Khloe is very good at hosting and she exerts control over her guests so things remain light. And seldom do the guests talk over each other--something I despise in panel shows. She even has a self-deprecating sense of humor; the first episode starts with her saying, "Yes, bitch, it's another Kardashian show!"

Khloe says she wants the show to be a "safe haven" for her guests. She knows how to get her guests to open up as well as Barbara Walters. As a result, the show creates more gossip than it divulges.

Central to the show are numerous games--party games that is. There are variations on charades, "kocktail" pong, truth or dare, and many more. They even do some prank phone calls to friends.

To sum things up, it has a beautiful set, style is evident everywhere, Khloe is likable, they promote responsible drinking (designated drivers), and there are no hashtags (yeah!). And the humor is risqué.

I don't care much for the bit where they act out Twitter wars, but the other games are fun and they make the show feel like you are watching a real party in Khloe's home.
