A sequel nobody really needed

Warning: Spoilers
"Die Supernasen" is a German 84-minute movie from almost 85 minutes ago. It is the second film from the Gottschalk/Krüger movie and more should follow. This time the duo also wrote the entire film, if the information here on IMDb is correct. Oh well, the two may have talent in hosting and comedy, but acting really does not seem to be their biggest strength. Then again, their writing is probably even weaker than their acting. The good thing is that the film stays clearly under 90 minutes, so you will not be bored for too long. They may be a charismatic duo, especially Gottschalk, but this cannot save the film from being at least as weak as the first film. Good to see the duo found their real talent not much later in the entertainment industry. In here, they dress up as sheiks for the most part, but there is more once again. Of course, like in the first they are also in drag at some point and I guess if people found this funny, then humour was really something different back then. The good thing is it not really offensive or try-hard at any point, quite the opposite actually. For the most part, I did not feel that they really wanted to make a funny film. There was a certain kind of lackluster attached to it, especially from Gottschalk once again. So yeah, not a good film and it's a bit embarrassing there are still 2 more films. I guess if people really liked this film enough to warrant these sequels, then these Tommy/Mike movies have not aged well at all. Not recommended.
