'Saala Khadoos' is inspired from many lady boxers who had won titles of boxing. Director Sudha Kongara comes with a story of a boxer of S.Mani,a daughter of a drunkard fisherman. Her Sister learns boxing and she learns from him and her role model 'Mohammed Ali', The Great.

The film starts in Delhi where Adi Tomar(R.Madhavan), a boxing coach was been called of by the association head Dev, a rude, egoistic coach who had won many boxing titles. He charged Adi with sexual harassment case and got transferred to Chennai. He met S.Madhi, sister of Lux, an amateur boxer. He trains her and gives her money everyday because he saw a spark in her while she had a fight with the association. The twist in the film leads to sudden change to the viewers.

Ritika Singh(S.Mahdi) who made her debut in this film acted very well, her dance steps and acting felt like a 'perfect débutant'.She herself is a boxer in a real life. Madhavan is nice as he is.He played a tough coach in the film.He trains her so hard to make her a champion.

Producer Raju Hirani and Director Sudha Kongara came with a short simple story of a boxer. Cinematography was nice and dialog in the film will make you laugh. Acting was nice and up to the mark and no actors did overacting. It is a nice film and its excellent for Madhavan fans and boxing lovers. It is like meeting two rebels in a ring.

Overall the film is nice and completed it in a time, it didn't stretched, the film is focused on the plot and during climax, i bet you will hold your breath. It gave a nice feelings to me after I walked outside the cinema
