Charlotte Rampling was amazing, great performance. Movie... Movie is not bad, but it has pretty difficult story, as I wrote in the summary, I wouldn't wish for anyone to experience it. But, I guess that's just the life (not only on the movies) goes, it's often unfair.
I think Geoff (Tom Courtenay) shouldn't have kept that secret for 45 years of their marriage. I would feel rather betrayed, and lied to, and I think those were just the feelings Kate was going through when she found out about him not letting go of his long gone girlfriend. Such a sad life Geoff lived, and Kate shall, too. Unfortunately. I think she did not deserve that pain.
