I was excited to see my old favorite, Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams - Doctor Who), as a lead - and so many of the B-Team character from Arrow & Flash, finally getting their own show and more development... This is totally FUN! ;o)
Perfect? Nothing IS!...But it's so sad to hear so many reviewers on here totally missing the point.
1st >>> There are the first-time viewers, that did not see the introduction and development of all these characters, prior to Legends, on Arrow & Flash.
2nd >>> There are the comic book readers, who are expecting their comic book characters to be brought to life, "as is", into a live TV series. I am SO glad I don't like comics! I don't have this bias. Anyone who (again) has watched Arrow & Flash, knows these are "adaptions".
I liked all of these characters & actors prior to coming into Legends, from watching them on Arrow & Flash. So I was able to watch Legends, hitting the ground running, and just enjoy it....!
It also didn't hurt seeing Arthur Darvill act in some 27 episodes of Dr Who, prior. Totally worth the binge watch, if you haven't!
What fun seeing a Time Lord ;o) ...errr, sorry, "Master" ...zippin' around time & space, with "Companions", saving the future of the world!...But no super-being, just an ordinary human, with a wife & son, who he just wants to save!
For our "comic reading" friends, get over yourselves and "adapt" to the adaptations. For those who are coming into it blind, do us, and yourself, a favor and watch Arrow & The Flash (before complaining) ....For the rest of us, we're just going to settle in with our popcorn and ENJOY! ;o)
