Jeruzalem (2015)

A little different in a good way.....

Jeruzalem is a little different in a good way. Its one of those cam films, but, mercifully, the directors made the smart and rather innovative decision to have the lead character have a Google like pair of glasses. As a result, the cam is not the awful, shaky proposition, you see in so many films of this kind.

This is a horror film. It has some genuinely surreal and at times scary moments. Its not a hide under you seat or peek out from behind your hands, "jump scare" proposition but, more your apocalyptic style of film.

What really makes this film work is its use of an inherently interesting and historic location, Jerusalem city combined with a novel, well tailored, story, decent acting, creature effects and direction. The result is a very enjoyable horror romp that hits most of the right buttons. Seven out of ten from me.
