Making a Murderer: Lack of Humility (2015)
The ninth and next to last episode has Steven learning his fate but we've still got Brendan going to trial to try and prove his innocence. Once again the questionable confessions are brought into play as well as the fact that there's no DNA connecting him to the crime.
This episode is actually one of the best because the most head-scratching stuff comes from Brendan since he did confess to the crime, change his story several times and of course the lack of DNA. I must admit that I was rather dumb-founded by the fact that the lack of DNA wasn't brought up more during the trial or perhaps it was and the footage just wasn't shown here. Even the mother claims that the detective is lying about her being asked to sit in on the questioning yet she never takes the stand to say this to the jury.
