Kaneki, a common teenager is about to meet his destiny which is waitingfor him right around the corner.Tokyo Ghoul is indeed epic andemotional at times.It balances well drama and action as well as the development of the characters, especially it's main protagonist.It can be a bit violent and bloody at times but hey, that's what makes it original ! You will be literally hooked on the characters as the plot goes on and of course, on the plot itself.
Some episodes are better than others, just because of the combinations of music and drama.For Example, at the end of the 5th episode of season 1, there is a great combination of melody and atmosphere.Especially when Kaneki shouts ''Tsukiyama'' and Touka takes a bite of his shoulder,for me it is one of the best episodes of the series, for this simple reason.
It's my 2nd favourite anime, you should Definitely give it a try.
