Review of Flushers

Flushers (2013)
10/10
best shokof work to date

this film has to be seen with regards to many issues.i have to first and foremost write it is raw, pure, fresh, wild, funny as anything can get in history of making movies but above all it is in my opinion the best, most original and entertaining film in cinema period, and equally all that from daryush shokof whose films i simply find adorable for their sheer originality, and great cynicism.the tale of 2 unfortunate, not very happy with their jobs (toilet keepers) acted brilliantly by the french first timer actor who shines all over the scenes he plays.on the other side of the wall there is a woman who tends the toilet and she too confronts all sorts of banal to sophisticated to flat cheerful happenings inside her toilets.the two toilet keepers share a lottery ticket with which they hope to win this very day and leave the toilet life behind forever.in between the man is in love with the woman toilet keeper and the possibility that their ticket might just win also gives him (patrick) the hope that she (sara) might even marry her as well.the hilarious scenes from this gem of a movie can not really be explained unless one sees this whole amazing piece of filmmaking unravels itself on a big screen.i would so much love to see Flushers in every household and on screens everywhere where such films can teach many how films can be incredible only if a genius concept and mind is behind it to make it right no matter how moneyless a whole production can be.Flushers in my opinion could be remade again like most films of shokof but regardless of how big of a budget or names acting in the remakes , none would ever achieve the signature, maturity and originality of what shokof masters in all his films.i just loved Flushers.a 10 for having made a masterpiece again.
