Pretty boring

Warning: Spoilers
"Café com Leite" is a Brazlian 18-minute short film written and directed by Daniel Ribeiro. He made this one 3 years before his more famous work "Eu Não Quero Voltar Sozinho" and sadly his work here is clearly inferior to the movie about the blind schoolboy. Both films are gay-themed. Here we have a couple who live together with the younger brother of one of the two, which constantly causes difficulties. I must say neither the acting of the lead trio nor the writing and the story in general were particularly interesting in here. I know that "Nothing happens" is not a valid criticism at any time, but this is a bit the case here. The relationships and character development is just so unexciting to watch that this is a boring movie. Many gay-themed films solely try to work on the premise that homosexuality is included and that this is enough to attract gay audiences and no interesting story or characters are needed anymore. Of course, this is a very homophobic idea. Unfortunately this description also applies to this little movie here. Not recommended. If you still want to watch it, make sure you have subtitles unless you speak Portuguese.
