I began watching Z Nation on Netflix last year. It was the first season. I am now onto the 2nd season which I catch on the Syfy channel. I also watch The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, and both those shows are very different to Z Nation. While there are some serious parts, it is mostly easy-going and quite funny. It doesn't take itself too seriously and if it did, it would probably bomb. There are zombies, a pack of survivors who have become friends, and people do unfortunately die. But, the show mainly ends each episode on a positive note, rather than devastation. If you like movies like Zombieland, Sean of the Dead, or Warm Bodies, then you will probably like Z Nation.
