These 3 minutes are the music video for Michael Penn's song "Try" from almost 20 years ago. This one does not only have a very close connection to the movie "Boogie Noghts", but it was actually directed by Paul Thomas Anderson back then and also has the late great Philip Seymour Hoffman in a couple scenes. Other than that, it not particularly memorable. Penn basically walks through a hallway the entire film and it's more about the other people than about him really. The song sounds a bit generic as well and it wasn't a catchy tune in my opinions. All in all, this is not a complete failure by any means, but it has mediocrity written all over it from start to finish. Not recommended.
