If there was a question on how to make an already good show better, the answer should be; throw a ninja at it and make him battle the hero. In a surprising back and forth timeline, the very first scene of the episode is Daredevil fighting a more well-equipped ancient warrior. As Murdock inches closer to the whereabouts of Fisk, he finds himself not the only one doing the hunting. The preparation and moral stain culminate in one precarious night for Murdock.

The cat-and-mouse chase between Murdock and Fisk has escalated. It has a real potential threat for others as Fisk gradually increases the stake. Murdock has to match this bravado in kind, he's tempered himself for what may come. He meets several of Fisk's associates as he prepares himself for what needs to be done, even though it causes a stress on his mind. Aside from the two opposing forces, Murdock's allies are beginning to realize the hefty consequence of their endeavor.

Their involvement and growing number are probably part of how he chooses his decision. The episode has a unique timeline as the ninja fight stretches throughout and between the fisticuffs are events surrounding both hero and villain. Fisk's side also has taken a few hits, the relationships between the major players have been strenuous for a while, but now the cracks are clearly visible. Despite the sense of helplessness on Murdock's side, his actions did corner Fisk slowly.

Fight is as great as ever, especially with the fight between two warriors. Weapons and aerial movements are coordinated fluently. The show's visceral tone has been raised as Daredevil meets his match. Battle of attrition have chipped away at him, and the damaging scars are piling. The episode offers a great deal of surprises even till the end, which already sets a high note for next one.
