WWF No Mercy (I) (1999 TV Special)
8/10
My first WWF PPV
12 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I remember this was my brother and I first WWF Pay Per View we order back in 1999.

It has left quite the memory for us too since most of our PPVS we had to wait for it to come to video before we got to saw it or until we learn who won on the next episode of RAW.

However with WWF No Mercy 1999 that all change now here is my review of the event.

1.The Godfather vs Mideon. To be honest the main thing I remember about this match was the Godfather's promo he cut before the match which told Mideon he was driven to kick his hide.

But they did wrestle a interesting match.

Rating: 7 out of 10

2.The Fabulous Moolah vs Ivory for the WWF Women's Championship. Too short of a match to make it worth your interesting.

Rating: 3 out of 10

3.Hardcore Holly and Crash Holly vs The New Age Outlaws Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. Normally I enjoy tag team match from the Attitude Era this was a good example of what you can do in the WWF plus this when the New Age Outlaws had reform. Work a good match overall.

Rating: 7 out of 10

4.Chyna vs Jeff Jerrett Good Housekeeping Match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. This match was one of the main ones I was looking forward to honestly. There are lot of moments that went down in this match, this was Jeff's last match with the World Wrestling Federation plus in this match history is made when Chyna becomes the first woman to with the Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: 8 out of 10

5.The Rock vs The British Bulldog. This is when the Bulldog had return to the World Wrestling Federation and made it his mission to fight the Rock. This match was really good as the Rock and Bulldog gave each other a run for their money.

Rating: 8 out 10

6.The New Brood Matt and Jeff Hardy vs Edge and Christian First Ever Tag Team Ladder Match for $100,000 and Terri's Managerial services.

Now if you want to make a strong match this is how you do it both teams work one of the best matches in their careers with many high lights from start to finish. This is how you steal the show for a PPV.

Rating: 9 out of 10

7.Val Venis vs Mankind. Now this still amazed me that they put these guys together when you look back on it but it was a interesting match.

Rating: 7 out of 10

8.X-Pac vs Kane Vs Bradshaw vs Faarooq Four Corners Elimination Match. Now this was going to be a tag team match with Kane and X-pac vs The Acolytes Faarooq and Bradshaw but X-pac made a challenge to make it a four corners elimination match. Now through out this match The Acolytes kept it like it was a tag team match but this match had X-Pac showing he can hold his own in the land of the giants.

Rating: 8 out of 10

9.Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Triple H Anything Goes Match for The World Wrestling Federation Championship. Now this feud has been building for close to a year since the start of 1999 now after Stone Cold was given the chance to become the WWF Champion he faces Triple H and these guys went out and have a war using anything they could find and work a solid fight of a match with a surprise finish to the match.

Rating: 9 out of 10.

Overall WWF No Mercy 1999 was quite a show and some could say it wasn't good but I enjoy it for the solid matches it had.

I give WWF No Mercy 1999 an 8 out of 10
