An Act of War (2015)
9/10
Excellent movie !! Shows a side of PTSD that most, thankfully, will never see

Warning: Spoilers
This film masterfully takes the viewer into a world that inside the mind of someone who is battling demons that only he can see. While there is violence I implore watchers to continue to the end. There is more depth to this story then you would first imagine.

Russ Russo takes on this role in a very personal way and truly brings a new layer of understanding to post-traumatic stress disorder. As the wife of a Vietnam veteran I greatly appreciate the fact that PTSD is a topic that can be identified and hopefully one day understood.

Ryan Kennedy takes on a hot topic that until now only showed the Hollywood image of something that affects more people today than most would believe. I would caution viewers to remember that there are many different ways PTSD can affect a life. Some are mild reactions and violence is not a foregone conclusion, however An Act of War takes us inside the mind where we don't often get to go.

Kudos to all involved in this film !!
