Na Maloom Afraad- It deserves an all happy review !
8 October 2014
If you want to give yourself a ROFL wala laugh, serve yourself a favor by watching 'Na Maloom Afrad'.

I had a mixed feeling before going to watch this movie, as by the trailer it looked like an orthodox and 'déjà vu' sort of a comedy. But from the very first scene of the movie, I found myself having bursts n bursts of laughs. All my apprehensions of plagiarism and similarity of plot and characters of this movie with its earlier counterparts, were soon vanished.

The talent and potential in youth of Pakistan, which we have been claiming about for ages, eventually flourished and came into being through this movie. Nabeel Qureshi's strong, detailed and thorough direction was the spellbinding factor. He portrayed everything possible, your wild and critical imaginations can think of. Right from the profound expressions and lively foreground cinematography to the subtle, vibrant and delicate background score, he simply nailed everything like a pro. Serious actors like Salman Shahid and Javed Sheikh up to the newbies Mohsin Abbas and Fahad Mustafa, all were on the same page and dynamically well synchronized. Innocence and wit by which the dialogues are written, timed and delivered, overshadowed their vulgarity. Story is much more fascinating than many other flicks of the same genre. Every single character was well versed and so complicatedly diffused in his role.

This, arguably, is the first ever comedy flick of the novel generation of Pakistan film industry and it truly depicts that this industry has a long way to go with the induction of newcomer maestros like Nabeel Qureshi, who happened to be an art school drop out.

All hats off!! Dr Zeeshan Ahmer
