Review of Shootin' Injuns

8/10
Shootin' Injuns is a scarily good time for Our Gang fans

Warning: Spoilers
This Hal Roach comedy short, Shootin' Injuns, is the thirty-ninth in the "Our Gang/Little Rascals" series. The boys are pretending to be cowboys in the old west wanting to shoot some Indians and preparing to go out at night to do so. By that time, it starts to rain and so they go to the nearby house to get shelter. That house is a "magnetic house" with plenty of gimmicks but the kids are too scared to realize that...This was quite a funny short when it gets to the haunted house with plenty of great special effects credited to one Alvin V. Knetchel. Like when a skeleton suddenly multiplies. Or when Farina sees himself at the other end standing still before he goes back into that self and moves! So on that note, Shootin' Injuns is highly recommended.
