It is the day when everybody gets their college letters back. Everyone got in where they wanted but Seth. To make sure Summer still goes to Brown he doesn't tell the truth. And later just says that he wants to go somewhere else. Sadie was planning to go with Ryan to Berkley but after she changes her mind.
It really is hard to believe that all of them got in but Seth. Really, the one guy who was great on a steady basis and Summer got in over him? Crazy! Well at least they didn't make it a miracle where one time ever two people from their school got in. And Summer only wanting to go where Seth goes is plain stupid. Well it is to expect of her, besides those out of nowhere high SATs she has never really been very bright. Marissa who was criticized by everyone about thinking of not going to Berkley was way smarter in her thinking as she wanted to be sure it is right for her. Summer doesn't seem to care about education and the big chance she has. If this doesn't matter to her she should have never applied to Brown anyways, but to that small college next to it, this way she just ruined her chances to be with Seth in the same area by ruining his dream without really having one herself.
