Outstanding episode is among the best of the series, which begins most atmospherically with curtains of an upstairs room blowing in the wind, before settling in on the eerie interior of the house, as well as others profiled here, which run the gamut of author Washington Irving's old home, to a seaside community, and a home possibly haunted by an old widow, desperate to find her long-lost husband. Parapsychologist and author Hans Holzer is on hand to investigate and interviews many witnesses to the events. Well remembered by fans, and palpably eerie yet melancholy entry is a prime example to showcase this excellent series to future generations, and aspiring filmmakers in stylish minimalism.
