Diane borrows 500 from Sam because she wants to buy a Hemingway book that is also signed. He doesn't pressure her into paying back right away but gets upset when he sees her getting expensive clothes, eating expensive food and buying girl scout cookies. She gives him the book as a deposit but he accidentally ruins it and pretends that he likes this book so much so he now owes her 700.
A fun episode, but I must say that it hurt my heart to see Sam ripping the pages out of the book! It being bloated because of water wasn't such a big deal in my opinion. I wonder if this episode will have an effect on the future episodes and their relationship.
