Dexter: Get Gellar (2011)
Season 6, Episode 9
2/10
The case of the lazy writing, cheesy as fck cliffhanger
8 April 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This series has totally gone off the rails.

It's reminiscent of the stupid ending/twist in Damages. There, for an entire season, they keep cutting to a scene in which, for all intents and purposes, the main protagonist is lying dead. With blood oozing from her head. Then VOILA! The writers were just playing with us. I DON'T THINK SO!

I hate that kind of lazy writing crap. And this episode/season is not very different. SHAME on the writers/producers. They are taking liberties with their loyal viewers and it will come back to haunt them. Mark my word.

And that doesn't even get into all the stupid filler scenes with Quinn, Batista, Debra, Greene, and Jamie. (Speaking of which...Sonya was one of the best supporting characters in the series. Then POOF! She's gone. And a heretofore unknown sister of Batista's appears. POOF! Out of nowhere. Unfortunately, this whole series is HEADED to NOWHERE. FAST!)

And do they even bother to send LaGuerta to makeup any more? It looks like her face is melting right in front of the cameras. She could cause The Picture Of Dorian Gray to have nightmares.

The BIGGEST ABUSES, however...are to anyone with a logical, thinking brain. But those have been going on for so long now, it doesn't even make sense to harp on it. Suffice it to say...this show has been running on fumes -- and aggressive PR -- for way too long now. And it's finally run out of gas.
