Looking for a baseball glove doesn't sound too impressive, as Sydney spends much of her time finding golden crowns of emperors and such like. However, it's an original, well scripted episode. I did not think it was very believable, though, when Sydney knows all the baseball stats right away. She has got so much more to learn and keep in her head, including ancient languages, that she can hardly have enough time off to spend on sports. But anyway, it's fantasy.
Thomas Kretschmann as villain Reiner who is fighting Sydney in the beginning with a dagger (and leaves her stuck under a rock) made such an impact that he returned later for 2 more episodes. He is famous for 'King Kong', 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' and several of Dario Argento's horror movies, to name but a few.
