I really liked the Final fantasy before this one (Final fantasy XIII -2) but when this one came out i bought it, tried it and loved it, it doesn't seem as long as the others but it is good, just the right length. I prefer this Final fantasy for the reason it doesn't take forever to complete like the others and if you want to carry on you can start a new game after finishing the 1st time round but with your ranked weapons, outfits and HP etc that you finished the last game play with, so you can become really strong.
You can customise lightening too so that adds to the game play and makes it more fun but i have given this an 8 / 10 for the reason i was a bit disappointing when you couldn't capture monsters like you could on FFXIII-2 and use them in your party, and i do like the online feature but i think it would have been better if you could do more than just cheer and upload a picture/thought in the game... it would be better if the outer-world come leave comments on lightning thoughts, or add friends etc.
Overall i think this FF was one of the best and deserves a 8 / 10.
