"Powerhouse" featured the Six Philharmonicas with minimal accompaniment by the orchestra. "Powerhouse" I just learned, from seeing this short on Turner Classic Movie Channel, predates the Baby Boom generation. The only exposure Baby Boomers had to "Powerhouse" was through Warner Brothers cartoons in the late 50's to early 60's. Capital One have just used it recently in one of their credit card commercials.
Quite an animated rendition by the Six Philharmonicas. One of the harmonicas being played was an astounding 30 inches long.
I can't add anything more to what the other reviewers have already covered since the other numbers played by the orchestra did not grab my attention the way "Powerhouse" did. So, time to shut up.
