OK I'll admit right now that I missed the beginning and am writing this review while the end bit is still going on in the lounge.... But I just couldn't keep watching this hogwash.
It is too unbelievable to me that a couple would choose a surrogate without going through a proper agency and/ or making sure that the woman who is going to carry the child goes through some major background and psychological checks first. There is no way this fruitcake would have passes any half decent check. I mean, didn't they ask about what support structure she had? How she was going to cope with the rigours of pregnancy. Etc etc etc.
Then you have the sudden "labour' that is just braxton hicks. It does NOT send you doubled over in pain all of a sudden.
But the thing that made me leave the room....as a mom who gave birth myself 5 months ago... Is a 7 month pregnant woman declaring at the breakfast table that she had a really great nights sleep!!!!
Huh!!! I haven't had a good night sleep since like....sigh...somewhere around month 3. Once the frequent loo trips that come with early pregnancy passed and before my little one started trying to kick me to death from the inside. Yeah, I may have gotten a night or two around then.
