Lady Chaser (1946)
Just a Sam Nawfield's are gem

Warning: Spoilers
I never miss a Sam Newfild film, except maybe some of his early westerns, they all look like the same, when you have seen, you have seen all of them. I prefer his crime, adventure and sci fi films. Even if most of them are corny, lousy at the most, but amusing. My best from him are APOLOGY FOR MURDER, MOTOR PATROL, MURDER IS MY BUSINESS..

This one is a crime feature, with some accents of comedy, that I dislike. I won't be able to describe the plot, it's too usual, a gal suspected to poison people, gangsters and the lead who intend to save the girl from suspicion. Tedious, but not charmless. The copy was from a 16mm print and not from a TCM taping off.

Not the best Sam Newfield ever, far from that.
