Homeland: A Red Wheel Barrow (2013)
Season 3, Episode 8
10/10
Best Episode of Season 3!
18 November 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Homeland has outdone itself with this episode. I don't know if it's a real return to form or another sharp transitional episode, but here it has been shown that those who are responsible for the series can hook us and keep us in suspense if they propose at this time. The pace is perfect. It begins more or less slow, for after the presentation phase be a shot of adrenaline through tight dialogues, revealing moments and shocking twists.

Finally you can clear who is the father of Carrie's baby: Brody. This is the most likable solution as she states working to find the father of her child. The final stretch of the episode with the only person who could prove the innocence of Brody dead, may be somewhat predictable, but its suspense is a reminiscent of the best installments of the series. And the last scene is simply superb. The best moment of the season so far. Saul finding a catatonic Brody, surrounded by needles. Why Saul was there with 10 million dollars? How he knew that Brody was there? What will he do with him? Do they let both break out of the Tower of David or prevent it as they did with Brody?

In summary: a joy of episode. A single episode probably can't fix a whole season, but if the final episodes are of this style, Season 3 would become in something much better than before and even leaving us wanting more. The show must go on. This is the Homeland I was waiting for!
