It seems another show full of magic and tricks by grandmaster Georges Méliès, but unfortunately the quality in this one is so low, even for 1896, that it's almost impossible to follow the action and see what's going on exactly. What I recognized among other things is that Méliès female assistant, Jeanne d'Alcy, looks like the one from the famous Marylin Monroe scene much much later on the eternal ventilator scene. Besides that, there seems to be a big magic tube and a lot of the appearing and disappearing magic action has to do with that. In any case these 75 seconds aren't really worth the watch in my opinion. Méliès has delivered far more convincing works, also including magic shows.
