The episode was pretty good. This isn't the first time the show has done an issue storyline nor is it the first to feature a killer who is sympathetic and a victim themselves. Neither is this the first time where the fate of the killer isn't known, we can assume that the killer will be in prison for a very long time but that doesn't mean that the torturers and abusers at the camp shouldn't be arrested for the crimes they committed. CM has often shown the grey world where sometimes the killer is a victim too such as season 5 episodes "Haunted" and "The Uncanny Valley". Also the "therapy" camp may seem extreme but sadly there are documented cases that make the camp featured in the episode feel sadly very real.
Not the best episode of the season or series as a whole but a very solid episode indeed.
