Dr. Peter Spencer and crew were thorough in their research as they prepared to bring this story to the big screen. A man of integrity and great faith, Dr. Spencer created a riveting reminder of what Hitler and the Nazi regime accomplished in a very short period of time: the annihilation of millions of Jews,Gypsies, disabled people, the elderly and many other classes of people. This movie inspired me to continue to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, to defend the rights of the poor and needy. My criteria for watching movies these days, the investment of my precious time and emotions? A movie must have a socially redeeming message and inspire me to be a better to person. Return to the Hiding Place met my criteria. I will purchase several copies when available and share with friends and family.
