Unforgivable

I have been always sympathetic towards RGV although he has been churning out crap. This movie he has done better than what he has been doing since some time now. But still it was visible that he overdoes some stuff. I think either he does not have full trust in the narrative or he he tries too hard to do something unique. Even in this movie , he shoots certain scenes in slow mo when its not actually needed, this is done to over emphasis something , although we are already glued to the scene and we know something significant is happening but director feels the need to emphasis this continually. Directors who are brilliant and top of their craft won't do this. They present you the scene but subtly make inroads into your conscious and make u think or leave an impact on u. With Ramu its all very superficial and you can see he is trying to do that but without any subtleness and sophistication.

As we all are aware of the incident so we are familiar with what happened and how it happened. But still this movie hits you like a train and hurts you. You are hurt not by bloodshed only , not by brazen approach of these terrorists but by helplessness of this whole situation. You are hurt because you see your country's infrastructure to deal with such a mayhem is non existent, police's incompetence and no one to take charge of situation. So this movie works in demonstrating all these things perfectly.

I am very glad that they opted for Nana , no one could have done it better than him, especially the scene in morgue where he tears Kasab a new one. Guy who plays Kasab has done a brilliant job.

So recommend everybody to watch it.
