THIRST - My Review
9 January 2013
To be honest when I first saw this advertised I wasn't really interested as it's not my usual type of movie (being a SciFi/Fantasy nut) until I noticed that Myles Pollard (ex McLeod's Daughters) was one of the lead roles and as I've always been impressed with Myles I thought it would be worth watching after all, so I brought it.

Wow! What a powerful film! Let me say it's NOT for children, as this is a story about survival in the desert without water and has some rather 'dark' moments included. The scenery is absolutely stunning and it shows what can be achieved with a good compelling script while only using a "simple" set and very few cast. I quickly found myself drawn to these people and wanting the best for them as though they were friends (and not simply actors in a movie) whilst glued to my chair for almost the entire length of the film. Very well filmed, written, produced etc with a terrific cast. I do recommend it and I even "WANT" to watch it again (which is unusual for me). Well done everyone. :)
