Come on, this show may be stage I am sure, but it better than a lot of Reality TV. It's funny, and life is hard enough without some humor, they are millionaires and don't take themselves too seriously. Got to love that. They don't belittle others outside the family and we all know that family can get away with a lot. It clean, you don't see the kills, someone has to kill the meat you eat, unless your a vegan. Have you seen Food Inc.?
I don't watch reality TV normally, but my brother-in-law suggested I watch it and I laughed and enjoyed the show, that must make me a Redneck Australia with a University degree in literature and film script- writing. Do you know Phil has a Masters Degree. Don't expect Beverly Hills, or the Kardashians or Deliverance go in with an open mind and think of it as entertainment, a Good laugh and you will enjoy. Got to love their enterprise.
Most critics hate what the average public like because we are uneducated morons. Critics need to talk to the public not just their closed circle of friends and get a grip, most are so far up........ anyway . It is the average mug who pays to go to see a picture, that's why movies like Die Hard do well, and it's script is used in script-writing classes. I can't see Duck Dynasty being any more of a embarrassment than Jersey Shore is to America. I know which one I would prefer.
